Purchase College Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Ronnie Bass

The Purchase College School of Art+Design Visiting Artist Lecture Series begins on September 12th. This series brings to campus noted artists, curators, critics, and historians who share their perspectives and expertise on their own work and provide insight into current issues facing the contemporary artist and designer.

Born in 1976 in Hurst, Texas, Ronnie Bass is a New York–based visual artist and musician. He works within the media of video, sculpture, installation, and sound. He has exhibited at MoMA|P.S.1, the New Museum, Anthology Film Archives, and the Kitchen, all in New York; the Henry Art Gallery, Seattle; Transmission Gallery, Glasgow; and the Contemporary Art Center of Tel Aviv, among others. He is currently producing a hip-hop album intended for release in 2013.
